Feedback from children

Spring Term 2023

At the end of the Spring Term 2023, the children that attended the siblings ‘Get Set Go’ were asked to share some of their thoughts about what they had learnt. Here are some of their comments;

"I enjoyed making fruit salad and rice cakes"
"My favourite part of the club was the cooking"
"I will go away from the club with lots of new cooking skills"
"I loved learning new sports"
"I will remember everything from this club - I loved the sports and the cooking"
"I really enjoyed making pancakes and time on the adventure trail"
"I learned rules to lots of new games"
"I loved doing the sports and making new friends"
"My favourite part of the club was the sport and trying different foods at the end"
"I would recommend the club to other people"
"I would want to make some of the food again"
"I enjoyed doing the club with my sibling"

“I learnt how to keep fit and healthy.”

“I learnt activities that make your heart rate go up.”

“I learnt how to make healthy food.”

“I learnt how to challenge myself.”

“I learnt how to look after myself.”

“I learnt to eat a balanced diet and to be active to keep healthy.”

“I learnt which food has lots of sugar in them.”

“I learnt about the healthy eating plate.”

“I learnt activities that make your heart rate go up.”

“I learnt to keep trying.”

“I learnt about the healthy food plate and food swaps.”

“I learnt about the different food groups.”

 

Autumn Term 2021

At the end of the Autumn Term 2021, the children that attended ‘Get Set Go’ were asked to share some of their thoughts about what they had learnt. Here are some of their comments;

“I learnt how to look after myself.”

“I learnt what a balanced diet is and what foods are healthy.”

“I learnt how to keep fit and to eat a balanced diet.”

“I learnt to eat a balanced diet and be active to keep healthy.”

“I learnt to make healthy snacks and found out how to keep fit and healthy.”

“I learnt activities that help raise my heart rate.”

“I learnt how to make healthy food swaps and about the healthy food plate.”

“I learnt to try new food.”

“I learnt to eat a healthy diet.”

“I learnt how much sugar and fat there is in some food.”

“I learnt about the food pyramid.”

“I learnt carbohydrates give you energy and fruits and vegetables give you vitamin C.”

“I learnt how to make the right food choices.”

“I learnt what the different food groups are called and why we need the right amount of food from the groups.”

“I learnt being active is good for your body.”
