Introduction

Our Healthy School

At Broadwater we are committed to promoting a healthy life style for all of our pupils, and our curriculum has many opportunities for our pupils to learn about the difference living a healthy life style can make to the quality of their lives both now and in the future.

We are constantly endeavouring to build our links between school, home and the wider community and hope that you will find this a useful place to learn more. Here we will share new initiatives as well as celebrating some of the great work that has been going on at Broadwater.  We aim to ensure children leave our school knowing how to live a healthy life.

Children at Broadwater are encouraged to eat healthily and are expected to be active in PE lessons and at playtimes. An adult play leader ensures planned activities are carried out during playtimes and lunchtimes.
