A big congratulations to Elodie for achieving The Broadwater Community Award, for her caring and heartfelt generosity, donating her hair to The Little Princess Trust.  She has shown bravery and tenacity as she cut her hair for the second time, donating 9 whole inches to help children and young people who have experienced the devastating effect of hair loss, with the help of these donations they can feel confident, regaining self-esteem and feeling like themselves again. To start our French learning, year 3 enjoyed a French cafe experience this morning. They learnt about France and ordered their breakfast in French!

Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic day at Gaveston Hall last Thursday where they took part in orienteering, shelter building and a river walk.  They learnt about  the geographical vocabulary associated with rivers first hand.  Nobody managed to keep their feet dry (adults or children)  as we walked through the river. The children also worked well in a team to build some impressive shelters as well as knowing how to use a map to complete an orienteering

Year 3 had their Stunning Start today to begin their topic on Africa. They had a go at playing some African music on the drums!

School starts for the children on Wednesday 4th September 2024.  We are looking forward to seeing you.
