Trips
Our Learning Journey this term begins with our trip to Arundel Castle and exploring life in castles.
There are going to be a few surprises along the way!
After half term, we will be finding out about how to be a knight.
Our Fabulous Finish will be a banquet, where the children can dress up as a knight.
We estimate that the cost of all trips and visitors in Year 2 will be approximately £50.

In year 5, the children have worked hard to design and make canopic jars. They ensured they smoothed the modroc and carefully made the features for the head, depending on the Egyptian god they were depicting. Next, they painted them in authentic colours and finally, added the detail using black marker pen. -
Year Three

Year 3 had a fantastic day weaving. We learnt about African artists and used different materials to weave an African- inspired pattern. -
World Science Day

On Monday 11th November, it was World Science Day. Lots of the children took part in a range of science activities at home to mark this. This included making structures from spaghetti and marshmallows, considering which shapes made the most solid structures.
