Remote Learning information
The temporary provisions in the Coronavirus Act 2020 expired on 24 March 2022. As a result the Remote Education (England) Temporary Continuity (No.2) direction no longer has effect.
Remote education will only ever be considered as a short-term measure and as a last resort where in person attendance is not possible.
In Year 1-6, any home learning will be via Google Classroom. Early Years children will have work set via the ILD. If children are absent due to illness, they are not expected to do home learning.
These are our methods of communication:
- The web-site
- Parent email address
- Google Classroom- children have a log on
- Early Years - ILD
All online clips sent out for children to use to support their learning will have been vetted by the teachers and will be age appropriate.
Teachers will only contact via email during normal school hours. They will not send emails out at the weekend or respond to emails from parents over the weekend or after 5pm unless in an emergency situation.
