Maths Competition

On Friday 7th February, three Year 5 pupils represented the school at the World Maths Championships held at St Oscar Romero High School. They learned a new game that required them to adapt their strategy as the rules changed. They then took part in a paper aeroplane competition, designing planes to achieve different challenges: flying the furthest, performing a loop-the-loop, and making a U-turn. String Orchestra

Last Friday our violin pupils joined 50 other string musicians from various schools across West Sussex to learn and perform in a string orchestra for the whole day at Emmanuel Church in Worthing. The day was a inspiring workshop of intense yet calm sessions, with regular breaks. Young Voices

The Broadwater Young Voices had the amazing opportunity to sing at the O2 in London. They have been working hard since September to learn a selection of songs and dances and on Wednesday, they had the chance to put all their hard work in to practice. What an amazing experience to sing with over 8000 other children in the O2 in London at a concert for parents and families. -
