This week, year 4 have enjoyed stepping back in time to the Roman period. They visited Fishbourne Roman Palace where they enjoyed lots of hands-on activities, had fun dressing as Romans and were wowed by the mosaics. The children represented Broadwater well, demonstrating excellent behaviour. Thank you to all our helpers on the day. We hope you had fun!
Year Two had a fantastic visit to Lewes Castle earlier this week. We saw the different parts of a castle on our guided tour. We also dressed up as people from the past for one of our workshops. What a great day!
In science this week, year 6 were able to handle and sketch some real fossils, which had been loaned from Littlehampton Museum. We have learnt about how fossils are formed and how they can provide evidence for theories of evolution. It was amazing to think that some of these creatures lived millions of years ago!
