Year 4 Fishbourne Roman Palace

Year 4 visited Fishbourne Roman Palace this week to immerse themselves in the lives of the Romans in Britain.  The highlight of the day as always at Fishbourne was the workshop, where they got to act like Romans by using a stone quern to grind wheat into flour, write their name using the Roman alphabet and create Roman mosaics amongst many  other things. We even crowned our own Roman prince and princess! Thanks to the parent helpers who came with us on the day, these trips wouldn't be possible without you!
