Whole school Easter service at St Mary's

What a wonderful end to the term. The whole school came together for a very special Easter service at St Mary's. It was a reflective and moving time with readings, poems, raps and dancing performed by the children in Year 5. -
Year One and Two

On Monday 25th March, Year 1 and 2 arrived at school to find their classrooms had been transformed into scenes from the Easter story. We walked through each classroom and reflected deeply on what happened 2000 years ago. Following this interactive journey, Mary Magdalene came to us in the hall and shared the amazing news... Jesus is alive! -
Year Four Drusillas Trip

We had a magnificent day at Drusillas looking at the myriad of animals from all around the world, including many from the rainforest including sloths, squirrel monkeys and giant anteaters! They made their teachers very proud at the workshop, showing off everything they have learnt this term and got to handle a live snake and giant cockroach! Well done Year 4! -
Year Five - Rocket Science with STEM Innovation

Year 5 learnt about rocket science with STEM Innovation. They then built their own working water rockets in teams and tested which reached the greatest height! -
Community Award

At the weekend Tobias spent 2 and a half hours walking around our local community litter picking. He filled up one black sack and 2 shopping bags full of rubbish, he had lots of the public praising him for his efforts when walking around the local park and high street. Well done Tobias
