Year 6 trip to Shoreham

Year Six had an excellent trip to Shoreham RNLI centre and Shoreham Port yesterday! At the RNLI, they learnt about what the charity does to save lives at sea and how important their work is. The children enjoyed getting up close to the all-weather lifeboat which is an impressive 16 metres long! For the other half of the day, the children were given a tour of Shoreham Port and learnt about how the port’s history has developed Shoreham to what it is today.
