Jessica decided she wanted to do a beach clean so we got a litter picker and she set off to the beach with her Dad by Sea Lane cafe for over an hour of rubbish collecting.  Their finds included a toy soldier, a powerbank and lots of netting.  She wants to do this once a month at least. The Year 5 topic of 'Let's make a difference' is right up her street and in week one had inspired her to do this already!
