World Book Day was celebrated in style on Friday 3^rd March, with many unique and extraordinary costumes being worn. 

Pupils took part in a 'Battle of the Books' where it was clear to see how passionate they were about reading as they tried to persuade the children in their class to read their favourite book.

We were delighted to see the effort and enthusiasm that had gone in to the competition entries this year. It was a very difficult job to choose the winners, but the school council picked the following entries: 

 Well done to everyone who took part, we were very impressed with the variety of book characters and also your enthusiasm.
