Year 6 - WW2 Cookery!

Kestrel and Falcon classes have been busy in the kitchen this week! We have been learning about rationing as part of our history topic on the Second World War. This week, we have cooked meals which were popular during this time, using rationed ingredients. We made vegetable pies, vegetable turnovers and potato scones and developed our measuring, peeling, chopping and baking skills. We really enjoyed tasting our finished meals.
