Last week, we were amazed by the number of cakes and baked goods that were brought into school. The bake sale was a vision of the school council children and a way of supporting a local charity of their choosing, Mencap.

When the cakes went on sale, the generosity of our school community (and love of cake!) shone through and we raised an incredibly impressive £602.75! This money will be specifically used to support Mencap's 'Sport and Fun Day' in June.
