In Year 5 we have recently researched and learnt all about Ancient Egyptian Canopic jars - what they were used for and where they were found. The Canopic jars were decorated with the heads of the four sons of Horus.

We then created our own designs and finally made them out of polystyrene cups, newspaper, masking tape and mod-roc.

Once the canopic jar was dry, we painted them with appropriate colours and evaluated the process.
