This week, Year 5 we will be having a DT day linked to 'Beat The Flood'. We will be designing, making and testing our own flood-proof houses.

To kick-start our project, Jon came to talk to us about his charity 'Amplifying Voices UK' and how they support people during a crisis.

The children learnt the importance of reliable information and communication and how Amplifying Voices would support communities, through radio, during a disaster such as a flood.
